I was born in Hawaii, lived in Japan during my childhood, went to Illinois to study engineering but switched my major to music part way through. Was active as a professional musician for while, but things have come full circle and I'm now back in the world of tech, trying to make improvements to both industries at the same time. Have been active in the tech world in product management, data, and writing/blogging ever since.

Located in the Silicon Valley area now. If you need to contact me, email me at ryangtanaka@gmail.com or jump to my LinkedIn page.

Writing projects and samples are listed toward the bottom of the page. For data science and product management-related articles, check out my Medium page for my latest posts!
